Change to 'Bios' will make for PCs that boot in seconds

About bloomin' time!

Having built my first PC in 1988 and the dereliction of DOS (whichever flavour you used to worship) it has never ceased to amaze me that ever since the introduction of Windoze we have thrown away a big portion of our productivity time simply "starting" or "closing down" a PC. Even with my super whizzy Win7 OS I still frustrate about the amount of time it takes me to close my machine down when I'm running for the train (I have to undock)... tcchhh!

Hence I saw this story and felt that there maybe hope yet... Bring it on!
